@Difladermaus: which version, the animated series or the live action?
@Lex Steers: Lex, the "national socialists" were simply the nazi name, doesn't mean they were actual socialists and certainly NOT leftist. The government and society before the advent of nazism was very liberal — in fact, Nazisms roots were a reaction to too much liberalism. The people who eventually became the Nazis…
@jinchoung: Perhaps not as much of a threat, but all she has to do is be there when you're not paying attention and go for an ankle. The slow movement of zombies is both a weakness and a strength. While you're worried about standing-up zombies, she's zeroing in on you quite literally under your radar.
@jinchoung: Have you ever even seen a dead body up close and personal?
@Strakus: You should definitely pick up World War Z and the Zombie Survival Guide. They delve into realistic ways the world would have to change to adjust, fight, defeat, and rebuild.
@Anthony Goname: looks like just plain old blood to me, I'm guessing the book specifically says brains or something?
The only thing that didn't work for me is the sleeping zombies. The dismembered lady in the park, the one outside the Jones house, the one in the tank, and the ones on the bus. The ones on the bus and in the tank might've just reanimated, but the rest were clearly taking a zombie siesta. They're scarier to me if…
@jinchoung: Breaking limbs doesn't make them harmless. Anything that doesn't destroy the brain merely slows down a zombie, it doesn't stop them.
that's like saying that the iTouch is killing X-Box360. They're different machines built for different purposes.
Between owning a black light, and the time I forgot to put detergent in the wash, came back to add it and there were SUDS anyway... I figured out I was using too much soap.
when I was somewhat involved in hiring, all they did was check to see what was out there about you and look for any obvious red flags. Does your blog have large sections of hitler youth support posts with swastikas? Few employers have the time to audit your entire online life, so they're mostly skimming to see if…
@pettiblay: that's why there are those privacy settings in your facebook. You can keep anyone outside your circle of friends from seeing half-naked keg stand. You can restrict your friends ability to share your data/photos/posts with others.
@Anomaly1: It has nothing to do with being on a power trip, it has everything to do with basic kindness, compassion, and civility.
@InklingBooks: you assume that they're NOT told to feed you into the endless runaround loop.
@Navin R Johnson: touche' Navin.
I think one thing to remember when you call customer service, especially if you're mad:
@geiko: Well, unfortunately Facebook is the standard at the moment, until something else better comes along, or they do something that turns off a large portion of their users —it probably will be for quite some time.
@valmorphorize: SMART MOVE. Cardinal rule for jobs - if you abuse the receptionist, you're not getting anything done.
@Anomaly1: That's an oversimplification. And a false one at that.
