Democrats ought to remix his “don’t boo, vote” and have it on loop for the midterms next year. I’m hoping that Trump has gotten this “lesser of two evils” nonsense out of people’s systems.

Off topic, but why is it there is no serious candidate running against Cuomo? I’ve been talking about this with friends, but there’s a huge opening here in NYC for the “Trains are too damn slow” candidate (ala Jimmy McMillan). Heck, they wouldn’t have to run too far to the left if they made fixing the NY Train system

She has more charisma in one of her laughs than Megyn Kelly ever will.

I’m closing in on 30 and I’m about half the age of the majority of folks in the Dem group I belong to here in NYC. It’s a struggle, to say the least.

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic, but registered voters in NYC have booklets about all candidates mailed to the address that the registered to vote with, along with post card reminders about upcoming elections from the DOE.

Besides the Mayoral primary there were 5 judges and the DA (I live in Brooklyn) up for election. My district didn’t have any other offices up. When I walked in to vote after work it was a ghost town. I don’t understand how people appear so fired up about Trump and yet we can’t even get 1/4 of the voting population in

It’s amazing how active folks can be on social media about politics but eschew any sort of local involvement. I voted in the NYC mayoral primary along with with just 14% of eligible voters... the rep. elect in NH won by 39 votes... local elections matter, folks!

Now playing

Remember when Texas elected a woman governor in the 1980s? When people said, ‘there’s no way that she could win?’ Perhaps it’s too much ancient history for folks on here... but Beto reminds me of a certain prolific Texan who focused on connecting with everyone, rather than more of the same.

Well, the USA had a good run. We tried to have nice things, but it turns out there are simply too many of us willing to make each other miserable. Polls have tightened and I am already dreading the post debate where Trump is declared the winner for being able to stand and breathe at the same time.

Wasserman-Schultz was appointed to an HONORARY POSITION. Good thing you and others weren’t fooled by the spin - oh wait. Here, why don’t you read this:

To think, he could’ve been Trumps runningmate. What a loss for us all.

I have a close friend who worked on Long Island Medium in editing and described it as the most soul crushing experience ever. He also thought that the woman was a piece of human trash for conning people. I imagine this is quite the same.

I got ungreyed but not on any of the ones I wanted :(

You’re in good company. My friends have told me the same thing. In the event of a post-apocalyptic world, they would kill me for fear of being sold out at a later date/killed for their belongings. They also fear that I would likely turn into some sort of post-apocalyptic gang leader anyway.

Blackberries are also known for their quality to help skin complexion. I eat them almost every day now.

Ah right, they’re just an odious party that casually wink-winks about it instead. I know you’re a “Never Hillary” fan but your flawed Green Party candidate is not a winner. If you want to support a platform and not a candidate, then the Democrats have the most progressive in years. But then you’ll go back to saying

Roseanne Barr in 2012 was an advocate for the Green Party and anti-vaccine. Also a candidate for the nomination.

If he was really building a doomsday bunker, wouldn’t it be smarter to buy some random place in the midwest? If an environmental disaster comes to pass, being anywhere near the shoreline/in the path of mass migrations doesn’t seem like a good idea. Then again, just because he’s good at tech doesn’t mean he’s good at

It’s also hard watching folks parrot the talking points of the right while attacking her from the left, all with the smarm and sexism folks claim they fight against. In the past week I’ve seen people talk about “not having a dog in the fight” against those trying limit women’s reproductive rights (because the
