It’s an example of how manufacturing processes aren’t mature this early in a production. I’d actually rather have this defect, at least they’ll fix it properly. But stuff that happens to one batch a year, or every 1000 cars, etc., just can’t get caught with the limited numbers and lack of fully realistic testing

And this is why you still don’t buy an early production car in 2018.
