No, not weird and I can sincerely identify with your feelings. I play the tabletop war game Warhammer and for about a year I was so overwhelmed with the quantity of miniatures I had to acquire and paint, that I was really resentful of the hobby and its creators. My snide remark above is mean-spirited, but it’s also…
Guess you don’t watch The Good Place. I feel like they hit that level on a near-weekly basis.
Nor should they expect it. I agree it’s a bad idea and not what i want. What will i do with this turn of events? Not play it and maybe check out Path of Exile. This Gamers Rise Up bullshit is just embarrassing. They don’t care how angry you rage on reddit. They care if they don’t make money on it. No amount of reddit…
The bit about 2D peak vs 3D awkward is spot on. Most of these games just look like crap - except for Wild Arms because it’s good old 2D (except the relatively ugly 3D combat bits). SPF2T and Mr. Driller will look okay because they’re 2D. And Rayman will look great of course.
A huge factor with the PS Classic IMO is that most if not all of the games on it and others people would want are easily available on current and previous Sony hardware that follow you across multiple platforms as long as you use the same PSN account. Part of why the NES and SNES classics were appealing is that…
Rresponses like Toobin’s have got to become the (minimum) standard by which the media operates if we are to survive this catastrophe of an administration.
People who try to enjoy life are the fucking worst!
You know how you feel about people wearing non-spooky costumes on Halloween? That’s how I feel about any adult wearing any costume on Halloween. We’re both stick-in-the-mud assholes. Learning to accept that is the first step to getting better.
You got yourself the beginnings of a hit song on the modern country charts there, my friend.
i got a twitter timeout for calling this guy a pile of shit
I really liked Oblivion. That and Edge of Tomorrow were the movies that convinced me to overlook that whole ‘messiah figure for a horribly abusive cult’ thing. On the one hand, my moral calculus may be off a bit, but on the other hand, Mission:Impossible - Fallout was really great.
The kid did a great job with the costume. I love it.
As if this week hasn’t been enough already, we still have to contend with Halloween, that annual celebration of people indulging their worst, most insufferable selves.
OK, the beginning of that headine made my heart skip a beat.
I’m impressed that both Daniels and Norman Lloyd are still alive. Lloyd turns 104 next week!
Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong.
none of these are valid excuses. All these ppl are morons and we are all going to die.
It’s not only the showrunners that have changed; the entire production process of The Simpsons has changed drastically over time. Al Jean didn’t suddenly lose his funny bone without Mike Reiss; as years have gone by, the network has cut the budget and tightened the schedule. In the golden era, episodes went through…
