You’re almost there.

We all have biases, some of which we might not be aware. I like to think we can make people evolve into better, less racist versions of themselves.

At home we have an 86" screen that weighs about 150 lb and it’s less than 6" thick. Now imagine how heavy it would be if it were a CRT. I’m guessing it would be 1000 to 1500 pounds and be a bit under four feet thick. Huge.

I fear the possibilities of arc-flash at a place that has 13kV service to charge multiple vehicles, and fuel vapors around.

Consider how long vehicles are kept on the road. By some metrics, the average age of cars and light trucks in the U.S. is nearly 12 years old, and has been trending longer and longer. Half of the country’s automobiles are older than that. People can’t afford to replace vehicles all that often, especially with more

If they target fleets with local routes, the technology we have can certainly do the job. I agree that long-haul routes would be difficult to do at all now as fully battery-electric powertrains.

At age 3 I remember complaining to my mom that I couldn’t breathe. I still think this was an important incentive to her quitting smoking at that time.

Had they been lifted, the carts at the golf club certainly would have been put on their side when I was a teen. I learned a few interesting bits of vehicle control there. You could get those things up on two wheel with a bit of weaving into a sharp turn on pavement. It helped to have a counterbalance/passenger to keep

Look how much fun they’re having doing nothing pulled over on the side of a mountain road!

...or it was named for the gender neutral term for an absolute ruler of a nation-state.

Perhaps that’s just a Russian Bear-Kitten.

There are some who say that if it’s difficult to accomplish this stuff, you should have others do this stuff for you. I say, if you really want to learn it, you’ll have to do it yourself. Your experience trying something new and difficult is admirable. You’ve approached it right. It’s not something you need to have

I’ll be that guy.

I gotta call BS on that last one. He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who gets the swirl on.

So you’re looking for a super lightweight car with excellent power:weight? I think you’ll need to stay away from stuff that has extras like a radio, doors, roof, trunk, etc. Have you considered a Locost? If you have the space, tools, and skill that’s probably the cheapest way for mere morals to afford a superlight

I wouldn’t touch this car with a 10 foot pole. A close friend had one of these Passats, G60 Synchro, and there was no end to the problems with that engine. It was fun when it was running, but it seemed to be parked a lot. The Synchro system, though rare here in the US (and a pain to import from Canada) was pretty darn

Corvolt?

If you really want to get into how a race car works, Milliken & Milliken wrote the book on that. Here’s a link to Race Car Vehicle Dynamics, the book that was the bible of race car design in college.

They should’ve kept Jack Reacher closer to the source material. I just can’t see Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. He’s not big and imposing enough.
