Given the level of contingency planning for the flights, I would not be surprised if there were contingency plans for various types of problems in quarantine. The solutions might not be so nice though.

This steering wheel is an interesting idea. Add a tactile/shape component to the interface that compliments any visual indication and you’re more likely to get the driver to understand the situation quickly. I think tactile indication is probably quicker and/or less distracting than needing to look for a visual cue

They’re going to reproduce an existing design with some modifications. They have a chance at making money on something that takes very little development. Putting in a different engine, that’s going to take some real resources and will not make money at the sales volume this thing can get.

Do his accomplishments mean he’s super gifted at technical tasks? No. But they do indicate a high level of ability to start businesses and scale them up quickly. That alone is pretty brilliant.

This looks and sounds like a full restoration with some upgrades on a body style that’s hard to get here. $38k is well below what you would spend to get it done similarly yourself. So, if that’s what you’re looking for, it could be a good price. Don’t expect the market to move it along quickly at that price point.
