I have lived here in Chiang Mai, 2nd largest city in Thailand, for 6 months last year and 7 months this year so far. Anything that you see in movies is nothing like what it is really like here. Usually, if there is any bullshit that does happen, it occurs in the southern part of the country.

I used to work for the City of Orlando Police department communications. It is quite shocking how many people believe what they see on movies and/or tv shows how 911 actually works.
