A basic function that I always forget is there. I've been looking for a faster way to call someone using the stock dialer. Lacking auto-complete really annoys me, compared to the Sense dialer which seems much better. This combined with search might be the fastest route to go.

I would actually recommend washing it, by hand. Some soap and water cleans them up well. Just be sure to let it dry completely before putting it back on your keyboard. Silicon is great because it's so simple to clean. Drying it is as easy as patting it dry with a towel.

Google Maps is still a really good resource, just save locations to speed up the process. Some cities have their own apps, in Chicago I use Chicago Transit Tracker.

Wire racks are nice in some cases, but this combined with all the other cables going on underneath a desk just adds to the visual clutter.

Maybe it's the drastic changes we've seen Windows going through with each of it's big refreshes (XP, Vista, 7), but OS X just doesn't look or feel like it's changing a whole lot from Leopard.

Earl Sweatshirt, cockroaches and death juice.

On their release page they say that they are having to test devices one by one to insure that it works properly, etc. As each device gets certified I assume they will push updates to allow access on those devices.

There's a ton of guides out there, and being a site that strongly supports rooting Android devices, what's the best ADB guide? Or is it better to just learn on a need to know basis? It is easy enough to follow instructions and make things work, but I like knowing exactly what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.

Restricted to NFC capable devices. Should have included a way for the rest of us with *old* phones to make this work.

They should start an online "classroom" where people can anonymously post questions and thoughts and have the entire community be able to respond and add to the discussion. You could sub divide this larger classroom by sections for different majors/topics.

Apple should have given users a choice by now. Offering MobileMe at a lower price, or even a free version to compete with Google's integrated services.

I agree. I enjoy the commenting system here, because you make your comments count.

why'd you stop?

Incredible with CM7 is working fine. Didn't show up in the marketplace when I looked, but I just downloaded and installed from a market link.

I'm curious as to whether having a phone branded as a "with Google" phone means you have to play by their rules. Same goes if you want to bundle with their Apps. It seems like what's open about Android and owned by Google is often misunderstood.

How about when your main drive fails out of warranty? You have to have a drive in the main bay, it has to be using Apple's proprietary connection and it will most likely have to be Apple branded or at the very least more expensive since it's not a common connection type. It's a great way for Apple to make more money,

I have a feeling whatever it will be, it will run Android and work with Amazon in the way iDevices work with iTunes.

Either we both missed when he called it out in the article, or it was updated. Either way this is more consistent. I use it all the time.

Try pressing and holding Menu. Should work at all times in the OS if I remember correctly. I can only confirm CM7 right now, but I thought it was a default thing across Android.
