RIM needs to sell a ton of these. If they can't put up the numbers then Apple doesn't really acknowledge them as competition. It seems they only changed their iPhones when Android started taking off and things really got serious in that market.

I think the single biggest issue with the frame design would be frame flex and how that translates to a lack of efficiency in transferring power from your legs to the pedals.

It's annoying for sure. I rarely play my PS3, but when I know theres an update I download it on my PC and install via flash drive. That's probably just a big of a hassle as actually updating the system, but it seems faster.
