It’s getting parsed because you implied that getting help might be a new idea for her. It isn’t, and old hands can tell you that meds and support don’t always work.

Yeah, except 5 seconds of googling on your part would have informed you that not only had Sinead sought treatment, but that she’d been misdiagnosed and mistreated for bipolar disorder. And that her actual diagnosis is PTSD with depression and suicidal tendencies.

PTSD with depression and suicidal tendencies is Sinead’s diagnosis after she was misdiagnosed and mistreated for bipolar disorder.

Some of us can’t “recover”. It’s screwy brain chemistry. And there are absolutely times it feels like a life sentence.

When I’ve told this in the past, I got a lot of “you just didn’t find the right med!” and/or “you have to be willing to do the work!” That’s probably one reason why people don’t tell it. :(

I have pretty strong feelings about suicide. Personally, I have severe, chronic issues that include a lot of unrelenting pain that there is no cure for. If I committed suicide people would say it was “selfish”. How? How can somebody possibly know what is going on in someone else’s life? To the best of my knowledge

Here is the cost of many items in Sri Lanka,

Try being (and being perceived as) a professional when you literally cannot find clothing that is made for your body size/shape.

They’re allowed to point out that once again, things for tiny-boobed people are in, and there is absolutely nothing being done for the rest of us who haven’t been a B cup since we were 13 and are WELL beyond the DD or the DDD that some mainstream retailers have now only just realized exists.

Typical attitude towards anyone who dares complain about how anything other than stripper wear is not designed for larger busts.

The jeans comparison doesn’t work for bras or bralettes. Actually what you described barely works for jeans.

I don’t need my boobs “formed into perfect globe shapes”. I am an F cup and physically uncomfortable without some kind of serious support throughout my work day. Not only is it hard to find a bra that fits properly (as most stores only carry up to side DD), it’s hard to find shirts that aren’t too tight in the chest

More like bralettes could rule if the sizing wasn’t so fucked up. That is what I’m talking about that people keep missing. If the whole point is to be comfortable, then manufactures are fucking up big time.

“Alright, Karen, I’ll come ta yer fuckin revelie party or whatever, but yer gonna need ta let me shoot sumthin' with muh rifle."

Way to twist what I’m talking about. It is not about being strapped down. The reality is that many bralettes are not going to even fit a busty woman. Even if a person is comfortable with wearing one, the sizes on many options are exclusionary. Unless cutting off circulation is also supposed to be part of the trend.

The only type of gender reveal party I ever want to be at is one where the baby is revealed to be a female... unicorn.

So the fashion world has made something popular for smaller chests. Again.

*glances down at F-cups firmly ensconced in literally the only bra that works on them*

I was just going to come here and say - this is sort of standard wear for the area. And it’s true. We are not very stylish in the MoCo but we sure think we are. Besides everyone knows the real uniform is yoga and exercise gear.

I live here and you are right - people here do not dress well or stylish. I don’t know if it is the government thing because up until just a few years ago there were some serious dress codes (PANTYHOSE and no pants for women at certain agencies) but my lordy lordy lord is it not good.
