Any recommendations for apps to use to display and navigate sheet music? Friend of mine just made a sizable investment in an iPad2 setup for this. Just want to make sure she knows her options regarding the software.

or Springpad.
Easily depends on your tablet. I can do exactly that with my Acer Iconia Tab A500.
Nvm. Plenty of answers already :)
No promises on that front. I don't normally deal with flac, but I acquired an album to burn for a coworker of my wife. It did the conversion with no problems. The files weren't tagged prior to the conversion so of course they weren't tagged afterwards. I let MusicBrainz Picard take care of that part.
Have you tried Trader's Little Helper for flac?
Does this mean I could upload my audio to Google Music and delete all the local files and play the cloud stored files or would Google Music perform a sync, deleting my cloud stored files as well? Not that this is optimal, but it would be handy for a drive failure.
The last time two times I interviewed, the schools were kind enough to call or write to let me know they had gone another direction. I really appreciated that.

Nvm. I misread your comment.
Well played.
I imagine you'd have a decent amount of storage space within the bench for gardening supplies, charcoal, sports equipment, or whatever else you'd like to keep handy in your backyard.
How do people have time to complain when there are almost 400 letters and phone calls to be made. Just saying? Breaks over. Gotta get my sign back on the street.
270,000 hits on SOPA related articles today (as I post this) with 250,000 of those being on the explanation of SOPA. And that's just the count on the postings timestamped for today. I think they've done their part.
How is that better than what they have done by posting information (more than you could put in a "big honking' message [at] the top of the page") on what SOPA and PIPA are and providing the link to get you direct access to the people that will have the control over whether or not either piece of legislation passes?
If you're so disappointed that LH did not participate in the blackout, you'd have been better served to express that disappointment by not visiting Lifehacker, spending all your day surfing websites that are inaccessible today. Of couse, there are other options. Maybe a script that replaces the LH logo with a…
