Coming from a guy who owns a G37, you are seriously the first person I’ve seen on this site that has actually brought up the VQ-series as an actual candidate for swaps. I’m pretty sure there’s several reasons why nobody prior to you has brought that up; one is likely because the LS is a thing.

Someone needs to come up with the VQ swap for these. BMW engines are obviously trash but LS1s are played the fuck out. But I think it’s important for a BMW to have a 6 pot under the hood. With a true dual exhaust VQs sound like Porsches!
