I feel like I’ve given him a pass on 90% of that look before, but the leather backpack on tank top on bizarrely stringy yet incredibly brorange arms is a look that I cannot forgive.

Understandable. It’s made all the worse by standing next to someone who is the actual age he’s trying to pull off.

Yeah, I was shocked that he was always available for dinner and to see friends on the weekends. People who work in the food industry are notoriously overworked and exploited, especially people who were just getting their foot in the door to build a career like he was in the film. I wish she had dumped him and met a

Yeah, he’s a hard pass for me now forever after seeing that picture. I can’t come back from it.

Justin Theroux: still would but that pic is testing me.

Neopets! In 2000ish I was working for a big tech company in Hollywood. I was making decent money, but not enough to survive. Someone told me about a remote job working for Neopets, so I applied and got the job. I’d come home from work and get on my tiny pc with dial-up and enforce the laws around Neopia. I got to go

It infuriates me how the old Republican dudes in the Senate know nothing about babies/motherhood while at the same time obsess over restricting abortion rights, the availability of birth control, affordable healthcare for babies, etc. From an article about passing the law to allow Duckworth’s baby on the floor:

:hugs: SAME. I “ran away” from home at 14 (to a boarding school) ostensibly because I was an academic high achiever, but actually because I knew if I spent another year in that house with my parents I would kill myself.

There’s an awful lot of people in these comments who obviously don’t know what it’s like to be afraid to go home, but still think they know what’s up. If I could have done what he did at his age, bet your ass I’d have done it. And I’d never speak to a single goddamn person who called me selfish for saving myself.

Speaking as someone who unashamedly enjoys the frak out of the Resident Evil movies (all 253 of them), I thought Rampage was goofy fun. I enjoyed it. Sometimes I just want to turn my brain off for two hours and watch The Rock pretend to be X (in this case a primatologist).

The dichotomy in the comments here is really interesting. Not a lot of equivocating. Just “kid’s an asshole” or “kid probably had a good reason to do it”.

**SPOILER ALERT**

This reminds me of the Chris McCandless (“Into the Wild”) story. Initially, there were so many questions about why an affluent kid would move to Alaska and try to live off of the land. Then, the real story emerged, and it was darker than anyone imagined. I’m afraid that might be the case here.

Michael Keaton’s late 80s/early 90s hair was SO POOFY!!

Of course you went with the man who portrayed Hoover. Well played.

And born of Cindy McCain’s beer money and John McCain’s military legacy is the media idiot Megan McCain. Good job McCain family.

I remember when Meghan had a section in one of her books that called out Bill Clinton for infidelity.

Which is ironic because she’s only sitting where she is today because of her father. No one would ever hire her if she was Jane Doe.

her father is basically dying, yet she’s spending her time shit-stirring and spreading GOP disinformation on daytime tv.

J Edgar Hoover, the guy who tried to get Martin Luther King, Jr. to commit suicide? Yeah, I would hate for him to disapprove of me.
