I didn’t see the movie but I really loved Kellywise (SNL)

We have a kids’ audiobook she narrated that gets a lot of play, and I personally feel somewhat at war with her on the basis of disliking her voice a great deal.

I really like the “offended”/“asshole” distinction, seems like a good path forward for a lot of us (not joking or being sarcastic, in case that’s unclear).

Personal animus is a different type of scary than chaos and old night, for sure.

The only thing is JUST CALL IT THE KUNG FU KID WHY NOT IT’S STUPID TO CALL IT THE KARATE KID WHEN THEY’RE IN ACTUAL CHINA DOING ACTUAL KUNG FU.

I really liked the Jackie Chan version--not superior to the original, but better suited for kids to watch, the “dating” element is super G-rated and the bullying is a bit toned down too.  Plus, Jackie Chan is fantastic.

Thoughts on what age kids this would be appropriate for?  I definitely saw the movie in the theater when I was roughly the age my kids are now and I loved it even though it was a little scary.
