If that's not the most hilarious looking firetruck of all time, I don't know what is.
I love the rear wing on that beast. I know that trailer-less tractors like that basically handle like a chihuahua trying to carry a 20 lb cow femur. So that wing must be really, really, necessary.
No kidding. I must tell at least one of my friends about this every winter when I ride in their car and the windows start to steam up. Of course, renaming it something like "AC/Air Dryer" would help people understand what it really does.
Good pick. I had a Soyuz t-shirt when I was a kid!
There are RS4s all over the Chicago area. Audis have long been preferred here due to winter weather.
Love it. Thanks, Patrick.
I believe license plate readers can be powerful tools, but I also agree with George. This data should not be stored beyond a few weeks at most. Long enough for a car to be reported stolen or a crime report with license plate information to be entered into a database. Also, at this time, these readers only work on…
I do believe linen is the fabric of choice this season - and also perfect for the occasion.
Send it to Morgan so they can make a car out of it.
Exactly. Sure they would go bad over time. With current technology all batteries can sustain only a certain number of discharge cycles. But if you only pay for the juice in the battery, it shouldn't be a big deal. The only big deal would come if the only available battery at the shop won't get you to the next service…
Great to hear that Tesla is planning to do this. I've been telling friends for years that the solution to "range anxiety" is having standardized batteries available at charging stations. You pay based on how much juice is in the battery - as the battery's life decreases, you'd pay less for it (even though it's fully…
Not sure this is such a good idea. Some economists are suggesting that part of the reason for huge regional disparities in unemployment is because of home ownership. If people rented, they might be more likely to pick up and leave to find work elsewhere. They might also not end up "underwater" in their mortgage when…
I wonder if the driver soiled himself.
Nice work, Matt. It's still one of my go-to sites every day, so it must be good!
Love the graphic, but the lap record is incorrect: http://www.formula1.com/races/in_detai…
Mazda6 - no question. I've guided three friends into Mazda's and they're universally adored.
Couldn't agree with you more, Raphael. The Civic is good, but the ITR and the Preludes are just that much better. They may not be as competitive on an autocross circuit, but those civics have been pretty roundly modified.
I was torn between a BMW e90 M3 and an e90 335i. I went with the 335i in large part because it would average 20 mpg vs the M3s 12 mpg. Sure the M3 would have been better on the track, but my commute is long enough that I didn't want to give the extra money to the oil companies.
