Exactly. Look at how many studies mention the disparity between minorities in America but leave out the Asian demographic. Its as if the US only has whites, blacks and hispanic/latinos.

Promoting a holiday before the actual holiday shouldn’t even be mentioned. Look how much earlier Christmas is promoted in the last few years. This comment is rather obnoxious, “it would have been okay it was only done on the actual holiday.”

Are you daft? Did you not see the connection to the Lunar New Year? You need to hit the books and learn more about the various cultures that have influenced America. There’s more to America than the plight of blacks.

So if something is offensive to blacks then we should make concessions to appease that one group. Every other group gets nothing. Self-awareness also needs to be expended to other groups and not only the group they are part of.

Oh yes, no other minority group has ever been given a disparaging title. Hey everybody, only blacks have suffered in this country.

This guy got a semi-reasonable sentence for filming reprehensible content but how is it that another child rapist only gets 48 days weekends in prison? Anybody that is willing to ruin a child’s innocence deserves the max.

Sadly, the person or individuals involved weren’t smart enough to even get the graffiti right. The other irritating part is how the symbol is only seen as negative with no cultural understanding to groups that use it in the present day.

The direction doesn’t even matter. People jump to conclusion and cry out HATE. Sadly stupid people have taken this symbol and linked it to other negative symbols like the pentagram.

What’s terrible is that her actions have resulted in possibly creating many more people to question the bone fides of other rape victims. When we should try to offer support to the victims, we have to scrutinize such claims to see if the victim is telling a lie.

I have to agree with you cmdeebz. Publishing a story that was based on fact would have brought forth support to rape victims and how we should go about ensuring that what happened was rape.
