I live with my parents. My mother is disabled and in declinig heath. I'm her primary caregiver. I think our relationship is good despite the massive strain that accompanies a child having to essentially parent their parent. I don't think your obviously biased view is particularly healthy.

I'm Asian, and it's pretty normal/traditional to live with parents until you get married in my culture. In many cultures it's normal to live with your families in a multigenerational household after you get married too. So you mind racism, classism, sexism, and homophobia, but not xenophobia or othering cultures…
