@Flako_FigZ: Senior Chief Petty Officer Miles O'Brien, actually. He's probably the only person in the whole Federation who never attended college before joining Starfleet. I imagine his right arm must be locked in a permanent salute position — poor guy. ^_^

@Jared D Weiss: Tell him that I said his performance in Crimes and Misdemeanors was spectacular.

@Haneyg: I should've read the comments further, as you already beat me to my punchline.

There's been a trend with Nolan's films,, albeit with some reinterpritation, following the major "Early-Career Batman" comics — ie Batman Begins = Year One; The Dark Knight = The Long Halloween, etc.

@Roger Skrzynski: Oh, you must be lost: the Tea Party is on the other side of town, down at the corner of Crazy Lane and Hypocrisy Drive.

@Krakenstein: Dark Knight Rises: Because he couldn't use Dark Victory without making it obvious.

I wouldn't mind something along the lines of Baskerville Old Face, or maybe something in an Art Deco vein if the headstone's of the appropriate material. Knowing my luck, though, my family will saddle me, eternally, with Comic Sans. Oh well, at least I'll be too dead to care.

@corpore-metal: It also stemmed from the prevalence of radio, a wholly-audio means of entertainment. Without meaningful stares and romantic montages, they had to fill the time with as much dialogue as possible to keep the audience enthralled.
