Regarding identity and its relation to the Catholic Church, its interesting to note that GU’s relationship with the aforementioned is tepid at best. The open canonical lawsuit is real — and legitimate. One wonders whether the average GU undergrad or alum is more concerned with basketball or the charter.

As a DePaul alum (our school owns the movie rights on this script), I will just say that if you DO pull the trigger, make sure you have a damn good coach lined up as a replacement.

I can see why Georgetown is screwed here. JTIII clearly isn’t getting it done, and finding a good coach to fix the mess and deal with the crap the Thompson backers will throw there way will be exceedingly difficult. I mean, Georgetown doesn’t have to look too far for a program that had a legendary coach who lead them…
