Beth and Randall are the best part of This Is Us. It’s so goddamn refreshing to see a black couple who aren’t written as stereotypes. They’re not magical negroes, or sassy comic relief, or tokens of diversity.

Brown and Watson raise the acting bar for everyone on this show. Without them, this is Parenthood/Generic Shlock Family show.
