It’s not a criminal trial. That’s closed with the grand jury verdict. It’s an administrative trial, which has looser burdens of proof and can get an officer fired. That’s the best shot we have now.

I can’t get excited about a trial, being adjudicated by police, being represented by police attorneys for free, where the stakes are just about him losing his job. EVERYone has a moral, ethical and professional responsibility to modify their actions when another person CREDIBLY says they can’t breathe, period!

I hate the rape exemption. It’s a palliative to anti-abortion nuts and a stupid argument for pro-choice advocates. A woman who has been raped has no more or less a right to an abortion than a woman who has gotten pregnant any other way. Women either have the right to their own bodies or they do not.

The rape exception is bullshit anyway. As a horticulturist.. if I had a tree that KEEPS producing “bad apples” (even if 1 or two are good)..
