Part of me wants to bring in a wax warmer (electric, not open flame). When I’m inevitably called out for it, then point out the vaping and how that also shouldn’t be allowed. But I’m too much of chicken shit.

Some Googling tells me that only one city and two of the three state universities have banned e-cigs on campus. So still technically legal here, unfortunately.
There are (surprisingly) several smokers at my job. One of them switched to vaping a few months ago and does it inside the office. I'm not comfortable with it but it is way less offensive than the cigarette smoke smell combined with heavy cologne in an attempt to mask the smoke smell.
You had more patience than I did! I think I quit midway into S2 and I don't like quitting shows.
Holy shit. I read all of that with a gaping maw. I'm glad the puppy is helping her and hope the progress continues.
That's all pretty scary. Good luck to you and stay safe.
I'm curious about this as well...
I also found it odd how little support is geared towards expectant fathers. Like I get that the woman goes through way more changes (BTDT, not doing it again) but how helpless must a dude feel sometimes when his wife is pretty miserable and can’t do much to make it better? Also, there is a general assumption that a…
Have you brought it up with anyone else who knows you and has met/knows your BF? Bouncing the idea off of my mom really helped me be okay with moving in with my then-boyfriend/now-husband.
I would probably pay more attention to the debate than either of those.
Also, you were at least productive while your laundry was going. When my mom got a top-load HE washer, I just stood there and watched it since it had a glass lid.
Ours does some load balancing thing so even the same wash cycle can last a different amount of time. I have a rough idea of how long each type will last but I am terrible at remembering what time I started a load of laundry. The dryer also has sensors to make sure stuff is actually dry (mattress pads and heavy…
I'd appreciate if my washer and dryer could be queried to tell me how much time was left without going all the way to the basement to check. I can't hear the chime unless its dead-quiet in the house nor can I hear them running anymore.
I know someone who named her son Talon and they do not live in CA.
Which is a big part of why I dropped out of design school.
My dad didn’t understand why I said I don’t want another child. I asked why should I voluntarily repeat events causing me some of the worst mental anguish in my life.
There are questions on the bottom of our pediatrician’s standard well-child exam form about the primary caretaker. I probably need to be more honest about answering those questions but I feel ridiculous being unhappy with anything right now when I have only one child, a good husband, and we aren't worrying about where…
Preach!
Add “tall” in there and that’s where I was. I special ordered a pair of pants online and bought the largest straight size tall maternity jeans carried by Motherhood Maternity. The only saving grace was that I could wear jeans to work. Also, I don’t generally need longer torsos or sleeves in my tops. I had a couple…
