I did guard duty this morning at my mosque.

Is this how American politics going to be from now on? A Republican takes office, creates multiple disasters and only then can a Democratic President can be allowed to come in just so they can clean up the mess left behind?

It’s remarkable (and heartening) to see so many people show up at an impromptu rally. I especially loved this poster:

Day 5.

I don’t like this. I want competent people behind Rex Tillerson, a man who has zero diplomatic experience. ISIS are at its last throes and we need someone to navigate the tricky aftermath. Not to mention troops still in Afghanistan, Yemen war, China, etc. This could be the difference between peace and war.

There’s a Syrian woman in her late 40s who comes to my mosque. She has two little kiddies, ages 7 & 4 (both girls). Her family lived in Hama but managed to flee before Assad laid siege to the city, and fled afterwards to Zataari camp in Jordan. Life in the camp was difficult, and a man tried to rape her before a

Keep in mind this includes Iraqi translators working for the US military and diplomatic attaches who are under threat of being killed by both Sunni & Shia insurgents for collaborating with the enemy.

The Senate Minority Leader and the erstwhile Vice Presidential nominee voted for someone who is considering bringing back fucking torture.

Mike Pompeo wants to bring back torture, CIA black sites and rip apart the Iran agreement which would lead to war. He will be the head of the world’s foremost intelligence agency and doesn’t believe in climate change (the single biggest national security issue of our time).

Trump just suggested we would go back to using torture at the CIA, and now 15 cowardly Democrats decided to enable him with a yes-man that refused to explicitly denounce torture and violations of international law.

  • Trump says we should have kept the oil from Iraq. Looting and pillaging resources? That’s a president advocating for war crimes.

I went door-to-door canvassing for Hillary Clinton and getting out the vote. I had people threaten to call the cops unless I got my terrorist ass off their property. I talked about Hillary Clinton’s platform to Muslim women at my mosque, particularly to those who don’t speak English, helped them register and drove

I think that sketch is this dress she wore in Marrakesh (everyone looks breathtaking by the way). I remember being unhealthily obsessed with finding a replica of Malia’s dress until I had a friend make it for me. It looks so good.

You think the dress makes the woman? Oh, you poor thing.

But remember y’all, Melania will finally bring class and style back into the white house.
