I feel Ginger got pretty shortchanged this week given that she nailed her part in the challenge. I don't really buy that she 'faded' into the background otherwise, given that Alyssa was really the only one who stood out in the background because she's well, Alyssa.

I'd say it was more engineered because Robbie is a talented roller skater (as is Thorgy) and thus if she lip-synced she would turn it out and make a great performance (and she did).
