"As if minorities and LGBT have to go looking for problems and don't have them staring them in the face every day."

Nope. She never even said reprioritize. Unless you can point me a specific sentence where she said this.

You know, the statement that women in America aren't always behind Minority rights or queer issues is a totally valid one. I could totally get behind that as a criticism of her statements.

And what she did say is only problematic if you're looking for problems.

You don't get to include me in your speech. And you sure seem fine with telling Patricia Arquette how to say things but you get prickly when I tell you how to best say things.

She never said stop fighting for your rights. "I fought for you while I was fighting for women's rights, now you help me fight as you fight your fights" is not "you stop fighting over there and help only me." Unless we're talking multiple rallies on the same day.

Considering you said "for starters," I figured you had more evidence.

I'm saying our to include you and me. But, if you want to alienate those who want to help you, go ahead. Just remember to use me and my so as not to use Us to represent yourself as a speaker for minorities or queer people or women because we're not all behind you.

Ok…You haven't pointed to anything and basically said *farrrrttttt*

Nope. They're kind of attacking her, as you are, as a sacrificial lamb of progressive white women to make sure people know that intersectionality exists. Which it does. But, her speech was a moment for teaching that this exists, rather than attacking her by saying she doesn't think women of color or queer women or

You're being a terrible ally to somebody who is an ally to our causes.

For starters, that's not "drop your swords."

Every single one of your responses make it plain you are trying to represent for all of us. As both a minority and a queer person, I implore you to Just stop.

In order to make sure their agenda is heard above everybody else's. It's called leeching.

Where does she say "the fight for Minority rights is over" or "the fight for queer rights is over?" Where does she say "drop your swords and pick up only mine?"

She's not suggesting people deprioritize their agenda, just help with women's rights when they have the chance. She's spoken out on queer issues and on Minority issues before. She will again.

Thank you for speaking for all the minorities of the world. We really appreciate it. The fewer imperfect allies we have, the better.

He sets off my gaydar too.

Yeah. That's kind of my problem too.

I'm not attacking him for being straight.
