It feels so rushed, it's more unsatisfying than anything. I had a lot of questions I wanted answered or discussed and nothing…

Ahhhh, yes, that makes sense. Thanks.

Completely sums it all up. With a few exceptions (as mentioned above), Worst finale ever. Worst reunion ever.

I thought it was Cydney too

What's a recruit in Survivor terms? I haven't heard this…

This is the first time I have felt physically ill after the finale vote was read. I wanted to throw something at my tv screen. It's not that I didn't like Michelle, but I really REALLY don't feel like she did anything to win. Sure, she was likable and played a social game, but Aubry was just as nice, everyone liked

I adored Paul as Silas. Those scenes were some of the funniest of the series, I think. And I liked the tie in of the original doppelgangers and fated love, but did NOT like how they watered down Silas at the end or tied him into the travelers.

You're making me very hopeful!!! I'm SO curious to see where they go with next season and I pray they know it's the last so they can set it up properly.

I don't really want anyone else to play Katherine, but that is a brilliant idea and a plot I'd love to see explored. Damn Dobrev and her desire to do something new.

They REALLY did not think any of that through… Ok, so you force the family aspect but then just as quickly have Car go right back to her old life in MF with Stefan??? They could have easily written it so that Alaric and the twins had to go in hiding or something else to make Caroline have to split from them. It was

Claire Holt leaving was a HUGE bummer. She added so much to that cast and really helped round it out. I don't know if the spin off would have had as much fan momentum behind it if we knew how little she would be involved.

Ha! Exactly. I did completely think that last snarkier "I'm right here" was totally a pull from Katherine's old lines. Good to see Nina still has a little of both left in her.

Well, this says a lot about the aimless direction, but also why we enjoyed the "getting back to the core cast" in the later end of the season.

I got the impression that her "no" was based on something aside from her feelings. Like she's still married to someone else or something crazy like that. I just don't think Jo has shown anything to prove she doesn't love Alex and that was too much of a cliffhanger. I don't think they're done.

I agree. I want to love Mer but those downright nasty, attacking speeches just really turn me off. I get that she was feeling sad about Derek and emotional but you don't get to do that. It basically was the worst set of accusations she could have thrown at Amelia, and if I were Amelia, I would want nothing more to do

Yeah…should have stopped at the Damon hearing Elena cliffhanger, with Bonnie and Enzo staring at their phone in stunned silence… the diary entries were unnecessary and they could have done that 5 minutes next season.

I turned the tv off at that point too!! It wasn't until I read the review and realized I missed the last 5 minutes or so!! Oooops!!! What did they do that made multiple people think it was over???

Awwww, man… I don't know. I liked certain things but this ended in typical S7 fashion - just sort of blah. I'm pretty sure every other season finale has left me speechless and on the edge of my seat, so I feel sad. Again. I just feel like we put in 22 hrs of a season that was so aimless and the finale wasn't anything

Ohhhh ewwww I forgot Damon slept with Isobel. I think killing trumps sex though? Maybe? I think it IS funny that Alaric is probably the only male cast member that Caroline HASN'T slept with and they're engaged. (Except Jeremy maybe… I don't think they ever were together.)

Ha! 😜
