SRSLY!! "You were all I had left." WHAT?? Low effing blow for the most minor crap ever.

I don't even really want to keep watching this episode, just based on the sheer ridiculousness of the Maggie story line. It is quite possibly the most unrealistic, dumbest, over-dramatized plot line in Grey's history.
Can we start a thread on end game theories? I've seen all the behind the scenes stuff, so I know Elena, Tyler, Jeremy, and even Uncle John are back… trying to figure out how that can be. Flashbacks? Please don't tell me they're going to do a whole "this was all a dream" crap. Thoughts?
Holy crap. They did it. Bonnie's seismic scream was pretty brutal. I have a feeling he's coming back some how, mostly because he's been on set, but it looked like some witchiness going on next week over his body.
Yeah, Stefan ripped off his bracelet. But I agree, I would be ingesting it too!
Lol… I'm going to go with Bonnie. Most time together. I'm rewatching from S1 and it's fun to watch their relationship with new eyes.
Katherine gave him her blood, but it was Stefan that made him feed to turn into a vampire. Damon wanted to die without turning when he found out Katherine was gone and Stefan forced him because he didn't want to lose his brother.
I liked this part. It felt real. A genuine apology and then Matt accepting that and telling Damon to keep it up and maybe he could learn to forgive him. And Damon actually seemed to internalize that.
Alaric's funeral and departure was one of the most touching moments of the series. Bringing him back was the worst idea ever. Well, ok, not worst…
I found this to be HIGHLY interesting too!! Who they have been vs who they are at their core.
The biggest plus in my book was keeping a beautiful friendship between Damon and Bonnie. Stefan and Caroline had that and they forced the romance and ruined it.
Yes. This ^^^ You can't lose your main and then never let the characters the audience is familiar with interact at all. Especially Damon and Bonnie, who gave us gold in S6. Then… poof! Never together again.
I agree with you 100%. I stayed with S7 so that I would know what was going on and then with S8 because it's the last. But it has been a chore with little satisfaction. I can watch the first few seasons and literally get giddy over the storylines - that I've SEEN a dozen times already. Last night brought that all…
Yes, if S7 and S8 had been like last night's episode, I would have been so much more invested. They just split everyone up too much and too many new characters too fast.
JP's last tweet has me nervous for any happiness…
I read a theory that Kai actually tied Elena's life to Stefan's so Damon would either never see Elena again or lose his brother, but just a theory. I kind of like the notion that Kai screwed with them though, because that actually fits with his psycho personality. There's also the chance Bonnie becomes a vampire, but…
I think he posted something on twitter? That's what made me think of the Kai/Elena situation and how they would profit from an end game where the spell is lifted and Bonnie doesn't have to die. I think Julie said Nina wouldn't be on set until the final in January-ish? But no 100% on her yet that I've seen.
I ❤ this. And completely agree. I loved Hannah at FTC and was proud of her for being strong, outspoken, and confident. I also see juries do not like or even see women like that at tribal. But my family clapped and cheered for her and thought she was an excellent example of a confident woman.
Really enjoyed Caroline this episode - for the first time in a REALLY long time. I thought the necklace gift scene was amazing. I didn't expect that at all and even though the necklace has probably been over done, it worked really well here. Everything else… ehhh. I really just want to see Kai and Katherine come back,…
Absolutely hated the rushed episode. Wtf was that???
