Not only that, she is often doing some really sketchy looking work if you look closely. At least to me, a general contractor.

I’ve watched her show a number of times and respect her commitment to restore old houses but I always wonder how anyone lives in them. There’s never and closet space or storage in the bathrooms and she insists on using the original windows when she can which have to be so energy-inefficient. Great restorations but…
I really like Rehab Addict, but there’s almost always a point towards the end of a reno where she will boast that it only cost her $2000 to renovate the house, or some other preposterously low number. Of course, that’s because she’s always getting free stuff from “friends” and also grabbing stuff out of other old…
KELLY. Shiplap, overplayed, okay, whatever. I love home renovation shows so much, I can overlook it as a charming quirk. BUT YOU’RE MISSING THE BEST PART. As I recently discovered, Chip and Joanna are apparently super serious Christians, which explains all the kids and the farm sort of and the vague gender-roles-y…
Have you listened to her views on feminism? She basically said we women need to stop whining and recognize the system is all equal now.
I swear, every other home I’ve been in has a wrought-iron sign that says “Live, Laugh, Love.”
Bonus points if there’s a “…and they lived happily ever after” or “Always kiss me goodnight” above the bed.
What kills me about this show is that they have to put some kind of phrase or words on the wall. Like in the kitchen it’ll say “Tasty treats”, or “Bless this home” or any number of inane phrases. H8 that
Here’s why the show got on my nerves: sliding barn doors. I swear in every damn episode, they put sliding barn doors somewhere.
I've heard a rumor that she's a single mom but she makes it work. Has anyone confirmed this?
I also thought she looked choked up. I think she just gets it - as someone who has helped break barriers already, seeing a woman she and her husband trust and have worked with, do it AGAIN, and to know the impact that could have on her daughters and little girls around the country and the world, that means a lot to…
Was it just me, or did she look/sound a little emotional when she said the line about her daughters being able to take for granted that a woman could be president? I don’t know why, but I wasn’t expecting that from her. Not because I don’t think Michelle would care about big milestones in women’s achievement, but just…
Michelle Obama just keeps getting better and better. At everything.
Just a reminder that back in ‘08, when Obama picked Biden, everyone was like “That boring old white dude?” And now we’re all like UNCLE JOE PLEASE DON’T LEAVE US.
I’ve heard this law argued about a bit and I always want to say in response to the well-meaninh(?) but misguided comment, “Well I’m for this law because I’d want to know if my daughter was in such a situation and be able to be there for here, even if it was to seek an abortion...” I always want to say, “yeah but you…
I liked Girl on the Train, I just thought it could’ve used a stricter editor. The last third of the book was great, the first third was just a little slow and muddled. If the screenwriters did indeed tighten the action, I’m damn excited to see the movie.
Literally has zero to do with this particular post and you're just trying to bait people. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Their Yelp page has a number of posts from people describing their attempt to extort positive reviews as well as price gouging and other shenanigans.
