If you don't ever want children a vasectomy is a fairly easy procedure and can even be reversed should you change your mind.

No, you've got it all wrong. A lawsuit like this is GOOD for feminism. I'm sure this chain is guilty of what they have been accused of, as with other (Hooters, breastaurants of various sorts of variety). The more we limit women as being seen as attractive ornaments to draw in customers the better for ALL of us.

Someone needs to get banned from games for this, and it should be Belichick. Seriously how many times are they going to cheat in front of our faces? These guys would literally do ANYTHING to get an advantage. From illegal shit to the most shadiest part of legal. They obviously don't care about some draft picks.

Holy shit, are you serious?

The show is about weight loss. It is not about health.

I think sometimes abusive parents have a tendency to believe the lies they've told themselves about how wonderful their children's childhoods were. Particularly if their children turned out to be decent adults.

As a teacher I'll tell you why... Each year I will get an email from a parent(s) telling me that they plan to take their child out of school for a week (legal here) and would I mind getting ALL the material together for that week and sending it with the child so that they can "keep up" while they're gone. Multiply

I am not for heavy fines or jail time, but with high stakes testing controlling teachers careers and school district budgets, its hard to fault them from wanting to discourage unnecessary absences when their rating is on the line for those kids.

he was charged, and convicted I thought? But he got off.

I make vanilla extract with vanilla beans and vodka (cheaper than buying in the store), and I am pretty sure that it is actually MORE expensive to get drunk off of vanilla extract than to just use plain vodka...

Created a burner just to say that I used to work at Yelp in the sales department. I quit forever ago, mostly because I am terrible at sales and likely would have been fired otherwise.

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (the whole trilogy) is my fave of that variety. Young English girl in boarding school discovers she's part of a mystical sect of sorceresses, escapes to a magical realm full of magic, beauty and female empowerment by night and back to school by day. Le sigh.

And it's fucking Hodgkin's. A cancer with one of the highest success rates for treatment, a short chemo protocol, and one that avoids the really terrifying drugs. Jesus.

I just lived through six rounds of chemo, and yes, it was fucking awful. But you know what? It sure beats the alternative, which was dying. "Possibly having issues for the rest of your life" is a far better option that "certainly not living."

I heard an interview with her mother this morning and she said, "This isn't about death, she's not going to die without the chemo." So, uh, yeah, I don't trust the mother's sanity.

I like this. I was really afraid, when I started reading this article, that is was going to be about how men carried around cakes and everyone looked at them and now they understand what it's like to walk around in public as a woman. And I'm so glad that that's not what it was.

Only if he's a big ol' gorgeous Scot with impeccable manners.

That's totally the direction I thought this was going, too. Isn't it sad that we're relieved when he "just" turns out to be a scummy married dude?

But he's not happy, his wife is crazy, he's staying for the kids, finances, etc...

"I'm ready to settle down" within what sounds like the first half hour of the date? No. Absolutely not. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Get your ass home.
