It's hardly my favorite movie of the year, but I wish there had been a little more Spotlight love. Anyway, better that than….Brooklyn.

I was referring more to Binoche and Stewart's post film discussion, shoulda made that clear.

The last two are more than arguable, but the level of sheer craft in Unfriended dwarfs anything in Scream. It's formally innovative, something that Scream, and pretty much most movies in general can't really make a claim to. The first half an hour or so of Unfriended is rather unlike any film ever made.

Makes sense to me. The film is full of such amazing scenes and moments that it's important to highlight the little things that allow the film to be so much for than the sum of its parts.
