Missing footage: 3 kids rampaging around the house while wife chases after them and husband smugly drinks Old Style beer with hand down pants watching "The Game".

Just throwing this out there: if there's no real crime in your area and next to no other races represented in the population, is the thought that, should your town or neighborhood diversify, you want to be able to protect your family against blacks or Muslims?

To hear them tell it, they are the most bullied people in the world. Gay kids who get harassed and physically assaulted every day need to toughen up and grow a pair; religious conservatives are oppressed victims living under the constant fear that they might someday accidentally sell a cake to a gay couple.

They are so oppressed they need to oppress others to stop their oppression.

"But some women are making it out that mysoginy and men feeling entitled to women is what is causing this rash of lethal violence against women."

I am really sick of seeing sex framed as an object that one can give or receive rather than an experience. It's one of the fundamentally erroneous assumptions in so much discourse on this issue.

Yeezus! No one has it harder than Christians amirite?

Okay, good troll, but I'll bite anyway: "Making him feel invisible and unwanted." A lot of us feel this way. It stinks. Our society is very atomized and competitive, and often superficial and mean. Feeling lonely is one thing. I have been there, and I have nothing but the deepest sympathy.

You think the majority of folks in this state

"It's part of it, and one day, our country will be abortion free." - Tanya Britton

I'm not trying to be rude to you, but your comment displays significant ignorance about the way politics and economics impact voters in the South. Most deep Southern states have enormous populations in poverty and the rest of the folks are wealthy - if there's a middle class at all, it's insignificantly small (with a

You've missed the point a bit. Those of us who actually are intelligent and informed are not saying that this is a theocracy. It's the people who pass laws like this one who openly admit that they want this country run as a bible-based country, without using the word "theocracy", because it sounds bad. I've had

Yes. I can tell you: some cannot afford another child. Some cannot dedicate the time to raising the child because they are pursuing another project. Some because they don't want a child now. Some because they don't want a child at all. Some because they know the sperm donor will not stick around to help raise them.

But shrimp and bacon are delicious, and giving them up is nowhere near as much fun as judging other people based on your lurid fantasies about their sex lives.

Until gayness can be accidentaly discharged and shoot me in the head, I''d say no!

It's also legal to "open carry" a colostomy bag, but you don't see people doing that at restaurants.

Here's how you know you're a sniveling pussy: You can't even buy a burrito without that feeling of power and security you get from carrying a gun.
