I'm not down with the "pregnancy is yucky and gross" stuff but it isn't false that it takes a toll on your body in a myriad of ways. That's just a medical fact. You don't have to be distressed about this fact, but it's still a fact.

I think you're overreacting. Pregnancy does fuck you up. It's considered a disease state by those of us in the medical profession. There is a plethora of conditions that only apply to pregnant women.
