It seems his whole ‘sickness’ appearance is a classic mafia move. At least during the Italian mafia reign in RI in the 70's-90's, several of the bosses who were on trial would fake heart attacks or exaggerate other conditions to post-pone conviction, gain sympathy, etc.

Is else anyone disappointed that, after hearing the title, they aren’t taking this season to an Orwellian dystopia? Yeah dystopias in media were very much covered a few years ago but then why “1984" specifically? Both the movies they are riffing from did not come out in that year. Maybe I have to watch to find out

Slightly off-topic, but I feel like this goes along with the wave of “self-care” being “trendy” at the moment, and brands/ businesses are trying to cash in — face masks, serums, bath bombs, etc. They want you to buy buy buy because #SelfCareSunday. Agreed! The Charles Mason ‘family’ story is interesting, but very much done. There are so many other stories about cult murders or serial killers (if that’s the topic Quentin is looking for) that haven’t been covered by Hollywood.
