He came to speak at a school near me. I don’t know what his official height is, but he’s about 5’8”, and not too muscular up top. However, he was wearing shorts. His legs are ridiculous. You could practically see individual strands of muscle standing out.

As a Pats fan, I’ve always felt bad for Welker. I feel bad that he dropped that pass in the Superbowl, I feel bad that he never got a ring, and I feel bad that he has racked up all of these concussions. I wish he would just retire to the horse tracks or become an analyst, but, as Barry elaborated on, it’s not mine, or

I walked by a Welker signing at a department store near my office and I was genuinely shocked by how much smaller than me he was (2-3 inches, and skinny), and I’m a shade under 6’, 225. Concussions aside I genuinely don’t know how his bones and connective tissues handle NFL-sized guys landing on him—he must be dense

Welker can do what he wants, he’s a grown man, but my heart sank a little when I saw that he was signed. I really don’t anticipate a happy ending for him.

I can’t blame Welker for still wanting to play, nor the Rams for signing him.
