How about The Ghost Next Door? It was The Others even before The Others and Sixth Sense was a thing. The tv adaptation of it was real good, it even felt gothic at times, with the piano and letter writing. That's my favourite one. And I just saw the movie not an hour ago,I like how that story figured into the plot.
