Fun fact: Abortion is 100% illegal in El Salvador. Not even for the health of the mother or the baby or in the case of rape and incest.

I just re-watched all seasons last fall and the season she was out a lot when she was pregnant in real life, the episodes she missed were kind of hollow, and the last 2 seasons when he was mostly gone felt the same to me. They need each other to be great.

The fact that one of them left is what tanked the show. The show wasn’t the same without that unit.

The second movie was criticised for being too grown-up and refusing to wallow in nostalgia with aliens and conspiracies. Now the event series is getting criticised for doing the exact opposite. They can't win.

What you get is just The X-Files—exactly as it has always been.

My hope is that Rey turns out to be one of the kids that Luke was trying to teach, that he left her on that planet to protect her and her memories are just a little unreliable.

I can see his point to an extent, but it does sound like bitterness. Yes they did copy the old movies, but they got it right

In situations like this I always root for long con revenge plans.

She had me pick her up on Tuesday, take her to get her hair colored, eyebrows waxed, a facial and Botox. We stayed in a hotel near the camp that night. The next day she changed back into

There is an actual objective working definition - the legal definition. Assuming we’re getting the whole story this would qualify. That doesn’t obligate her to identify it as such when she talks about her personal experience.

Yeah, it’s all pretty gross :/ The women in the class were all pretty passionate about the subject, but I know a few left when they realised that even a super supportive subject coordinator wasn’t able to stop a lecturer, who was pretty revered in the field, treating them badly...

Ben Carson may be a neurosurgeon (and a talented one according to plenty of people) but please, don’t call him a scientist. He doesn’t seem to have a very good grasp of science outside of human anatomy and his specialty or the scientific method.

She’s a tool, not a plant. The goal is to deconstruct every effective mechanism for advancing racial equality enacted over the last few centuries, and there is a never-ending wave of young, privileged kids raised to believe that there is something fundamentally wrong in any system where a black person can do better

Realistically? It’s more that men truly act as a class to retaliate against women who report rape (or criticize male supremacy in any other way). Men really have sex-class solidarity down pat...

I agree, less is more in these situations. He comes off as a sociopath in this.

To be clear he was only accused of tripping people he had already tripped before, so really, was this time REALLY tripping at all? I didn’t think so. I rest my case your honor.

The person, who identifies himself as male, also says that while Deen is an “asshole,” he’s not a rapist...
