Now that I eat six small meals a day, I don't really have the urge anymore.

@Thorny: No kidding, my maker is done in 15 minutes. I can eat it like soft serve at that point or firm it up in the freezer for an hour. It's much easier. BTW, kudos on the 3-2-1 Contact reference.

@jeffk: It might not have had time to index the file. I also don't know if the system will index zero byte files—in case you didn't put any text in the file. Copy and paste a string of text into the file and then see if it gets indexed. Of course, this is all a guess. To test without indexing, use the advanced

I've been easily distracted my whole life. The net didn't lower my attention span. At best, I can say the net just provides a huge distraction because it's everywhere in my life.

@jupiterthunder: If you're doing an old recipe, you're using it for one of two reasons (1) thicken the stew, or (2) promote browning when searing the meat before placing it in the stew mix. Browning to me is far more important since, chances are, a slow cooker isn't going to reduce the liquid enough anyways and you

@Phoshi: Perhaps the annoyance factor is what would make this the most productive skin ever. Become 100x productive by hating your web browsing experience :)

@axiomatic: Second to that, if the focus turns to serving the user rather than the advertiser, does that lessen the intensive to setup services that profit from public info? One could argue that question either way, but I think it's an important thing to examine at when debating privacy on the net.

@patapoofski: It says it in the article, but I wonder how many people will just look at the pic and skip reading this thing in detail.

@ursa: Or a quiche if you have a pie crust.

@UnderLoK: Shoot, now I'm hungry and it's only 8am.

@UnderLoK: It'll speed up a braise or a stock for sure. But it also helps infuse flavor. I can braise short ribs for six hours and compare it to the same recipe in a pressure cooker, and I will always love the pressure cooker version. It's just a little different. These things are also amazing at turning a really

@Dương Nguyễn: I love pressure cookers. I think the US forgot about the foods that do well in a pressure cooker. Not many people need to buy that super tough non-traditional cut of meat that benefits from the cookers. I know some Thai recipes that absolutely require a pressure cooker becuase they use some less

I used to love Dolphin, but I hate the latest update. IMHO, the old UI was much better.

@Rustopholous: Awesome. I can't seem to access it from work, but I'm going to check this out for sure. Thanks for the info.

I'm really impressed with the progress of Transmission. I'm running rTorrent with the ruTorrent web gui on my server, but I now see that Transmission has a terminal app and a daemon for headless systems. It just doesn't look like it has RSS built in. If it gets that, I may have to switch.

@natenovs: I didn't use quotes. Apparently that's what brings the magic.

@manderson: Ha. I actually tried it and I had to search for "cooking prime rib" and then it gave me the option to pull up the recipe search.

@lowtolerance: It also doesn't seem to work well for actual dish names either. I searched for Pad Thai and Beef Bourguignon and had to jump through a few hoops before the recipes popped up. I love the idea and I hope they perfect it, but this thing is not ready for prime time just yet.

My shoes will no longer be entropy's bitch! Take that Universe! Mwahahahaha!
