I love it! Thank you Lifehacker. I wouldn't mind seeing "Eat To Live" as a regular feature. The postings through food week seemed to be a lot better than previous food-related postings. I can't put my finger on it, but the posts were much better. Keep up all the good work!

I want to see a foodie rating of the best burgers in the US. There has to be someone out there who decided to travel the country in search of the best burger, rating everything he/she could try.

Vote: index cards

That seems like a reasonable list. I prefer a slotted turner with a sharp edge (fish turner). I love my LamsonSharp turner [www.amazon.com]

If you don't mind the extra time involved, make your own yeast culture, keep it alive, and have flavorful yeast for amazing bread forever. I got this info from a baker friend and it works well:

I noticed that some people stated that brown bagging a lunch doesn't save money. I save a ton, here's how: (1) stop eating out for lunch; (2) do not alter the weekly grocery budget. By using the food I already have available, I'm saving money. I noticed that I always have extra food and do not consume everything I

@atomicrabbit: I saw that episode too. As I recall, you are correct. Absolute worst case, I've heard that putting wax paper around the metal suppresses the sparks.

@mlhoward516: Serious? I think Thomas Keller might disagree with your definition. Yes, Rachel Ray is a cook, but there are some executive chefs out there who were not formally trained. People who start out in a good stagiere and train underneath a professional Chef and work to become the heads of kitchens are also

@DMANbluesfreak: To add on, some states have rules that put a dollar value on the requirement to call the police. For example, a state might require you to call the police if the damage looks to be more than $400 in value. I like DMANbluesfreak's advice, if you want the insurance company to pay for it, file a

@foolish-rain: No kidding. I have to agree that a scale is not essential.

This is one of my favorites. I also suggest looking info Unfu*k Facebook and Facebook Fixer.

@iain010100: Slam it down anyways and tell me how it turns out :)

Speaking of food tips, I saw a great move on Iron Chef America last night. Chef Gavin Kaysen used his tongs as a lever to juice a lime. He put the lime towards the but end and just squeezed—it worked quite well. It's a simple idea, but I know I never thought of it before.

@Tyler Harrington: Doesn't that suck about the net? I'm glad you're offering up the info though. It's nice that the net allows us to spread this information even though it often has to come through a debate. I don't think everyone understands how far above the water table CO is, but it's quite high and I think your

@Eric1285: That's probably part of it. I imagine its a combination of rights to runoff water as well as the points gerrrg makes. However, the concepts that various states use to deal with water rights did not originate in the US. Although, the Google search Temoto references includes situations where special laws

Win+M and Win+Shift+M works great as I can Win+M, open a new window, and then Win+Shift+M to get the other windows back. My only complaint is that M is too far away from the Win key to make it a one handed operation, and W+Shift+M puts the new window at the bottom of the pile, which then adds more mouse-work or

@ustice: Thank you for helping me finish off my work day properly.

@iamkewl: It's a bad habit I've been trying to kill. One day I will be icon free on the desktop.
