As someone who gets dressed in the dark, I can relate to this controller.

This week’s video game podcasts:
That seems like muscle memory more than anything on your part. I use the long press on the PS4 more than the single press. Not having to long press sounds great for a menu that’s meant for quick interaction. Then again, I’m on-board with the design of this button, but having not used it in practice reality might not…
Somehow the most shocking thing this week is what a contentious debate this still is! The people have spoken and I am ordering my rechargeable AA batteries right now.
Yep, as others have said, 100% on board with this.
I wish a lot things had removable batteries, like my cell phone, and my laptop I had to do open heart surgery on just to get rid of a failing battery.
Well thank goodness for that deal. My AA rechargeables last wayyy longer than my DS4 internal battery, and when they run out they can be easily swapped rather than having to find a super long cable or suspend gaming while I charge the controller.
Before any silly suggestions get made, batteries are much cheaper…
I’m glad that they do. I much prefer swapping some rechargeable batteries than having to dock and charge a controller.
The heater isn’t creating moisture. Anyway, this is how the defrost setting works on most cars.
So much wrong here. A shocking amount, really.
Every single car does this automatically. It’s how defroster settings work.
This is a pretty garbage review and the majority of comments think so too.
This wasn’t even slightly poignant, it was just really terrible writing with a complete lack of knowing your audience. It essentially assumes that you’re a bad person for wanting to get a console during a time of crisis and almost even implies that people aren’t fighting for their lives in this country when COVID…
...And incredibly inappropriate in a console review. There are better venues for that. If his goal is to scare people off purchasing a product, which in turn might raise eyebrows from advertisers, go on. Real smart Kotaku!
Somewhere in this article there was a genuine review of the Playstation 5. It was of course buried between the multiple ‘I feel depressed so all of you need to feel depressed too!’ and ‘You need to feel bad about buying entertainment products’ comments the author made.
how so? you think they chose time this a few weeks ago and not a few years?
Absurd addition to this review. Are we going to mention ongoing tragedies in every review of luxury items and consumer products? "Here's an RTX 3080, but let's reflect on the pandemic that has killed 240k Americans. You probably should feel bad for buying this"
You’re not going to see any major graphical leaps on PS5 for a year or two. This is the same for every generation. Look at the beginning and end titles on a platform, and the differences are almost night and day.
Meh. Your editor should’ve caught it.
