No problem! Yes, which is kind of a problem in low altitude jumps now and a hot topic of conversation in the airborne community. A study was conducted as far as reliability in the T-10 series parachutes, looking at exiting altitude and % of reliability of the chute opening. A low altitude jump is 200-500 feet, and

It sucks to be placed in a rehabilitation company when you just want to go out there and finish. I was in one for a broken foot. It sucks more for those who end up getting a medical board in training because of a bad injury. If you break something and need healing and rehab, you stay in until you are completely

No shit it isn't basic training. Same thing works in schools like Airborne school.. Just saying. Nor was I saying that was how it worked in this instance. I was simply correcting another commenter.

You're clearly not familiar with how parachutes used by paratroopers in the Army work. You don't have 4 seconds to open your parachute - it opens on its own, automatically. You pull the rip cord of your reserve in the event your main chute doesn't open. And oh yeah, I'm a female paratrooper. I've jumped out

You don't just "withdraw" from basic training if you are injured or get pneumonia. You are placed in a rehabilitation company until you are better, then you are integrated back into a new training company that is actively in the same cycle you were in prior to getting injured.

Thank you! :)

I'm actually from Ohio. I did 2 years at Ohio Northern (and have nothing but 50K in student loans to show for myself) and went back to Ohio State after I got off of active duty Army to finish school. I'm from southern Ohio, and Miami back when I was in high school, 10-12 years ago, Miami had this rep to be filled

HAHAHAHHAHA Paul Ryan went there? Well that about sums it up.

I think you're reading way too far into my casual comment, which really implied that it seemed more like something that would happen at a place like Ohio State. Never once did I imply that since Miami was the "smart kid school" that it was possible that no one ever got raped there.

Holy fuck, I didn't know Ben Rothlesberger played for Miami. That is insane. Anyway, hell yes, I'm an OSU alum too. I did 2 years at Ohio Northern as well.

This was 2003, so I'm sure a lot has changed since then. Back when I was in high school, Miami was like the ivy league of Ohio universities.

That's really interesting! This is the sort of thing I'd expect at my alma mater... Ohio State. Just given the sheer number of students and the fact that it's located in a very large urban area.

I'm just saying, given my few visits there and its reputation, I was a little shocked, because at the time, it seemed like a serious bunch. Then again, the last time I was there was 2005. So who knows. Assholes and rapists and all sorts of people are in every community, not trying to deny that. Just saying it'd be

Kind of shocked that this kind of thing happened at Miami, of all the schools in Ohio. Miami has the reputation of being the school where all the smart kids go, if they decide to stay in state. I got a 28 on my ACT back in 2003 and got waitlisted there.

I'm the kind of person that will go to work unless I am throwing up or have some ridic high fever. Suffer through the day. I have one coworker who misses work ALL THE FUCKING time. I seriously have no idea how he is still employed. I'm always cc'ed on an email that he's explaining why he is coming in late - or not

Image fail.

But but but!

Nothing to ask, just wanted to let you know your last interview with Christine O'Donnell still makes me laugh. You rock.

Cue all the idiot pundits harping about how Michelle Obama clearly isn't about eating healthy because she gives her dog extra treats in 5... 4... 3...

This is not shocking. I've listened to Dave & Jimmy as long as I can remember, since I'm from Ohio and lived in the Columbus area until about a year and a half ago. Jimmy is notorious for being an asshole and he continuously objectifies women. Kelsey is another co-host on the show, and he absolutely treats her like
