I was just remembering this trend the other day! I remembered when I visited NYC at the time and was taking fashion notes because they’re so ahead of trends, this was one of the things I noticed.

I have stopped asking these questions and choose to few it as a showcase for some really imaginative ways to put stuff on your body. Life is a Cabaret, my friend!!

High heeled flip flops were a Thing in the early 2000s and I wore the shit out of them. For people who ordinarily can’t wear strappy sandal heels because their troll feet are too wide and their toes stick out between the straps, this trend is a miracle. I eagerly welcome their return.

Insert Devil Wears Prada cerulean speech.

I think divorce rates are going down actually as well as marriage rates. Me and Mr Witch have been married 9 years and going on 13 years together but I am starting to see more couples divorcing in the age group that’s a little older than me. Probably their kids are older so they feel they don’t need someone else to

Thirty years together. I want us to be one of those old couples who makes their diamond anniversary. All shriveled and lumpy and still in love.

I don’t think white people are the ones who get to decide if it matters. And not all people of color feel the same about appropriation either. But when white people take credit for or are applauded for creating styles/dances/what the hell ever that have belonged to other cultures for years, it is a problem. It’s a

Typical excuse for someone who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone else.

Not being a dick to other people and treating them respectfully is really quite a litany of rules.

Yeah, the white feminism on this site is pretty bad.

Rule #1. Treat others kindly.

A lot of people don’t get that they don’t make the rules about things that belong to other people. And when you tell them they’re not entitled to that, well, they won’t fucking hear it.

People really don’t get this.

There were a few Gaga-ish elements too.

I laughed at the dancers’ “I <3 TS” shirts. I do think Taylor reads all the comments.

I love it. Big pop stars laying down big production bucks to go full camp is the best. I still wish she picked a better phrase than ‘look what you made me do’ but visually I enjoyed this.

Confession: the more I hear this song, the more I like it. I don’t want to like it but the heart wants what it wants.

Part of the trouble is that these people, through their inappropriate behaviour, then put you in a lose-lose situation where you either have to feel guilty about implicitly enabling them by not doing anything, or risk putting yourself out on the line by being the one to call them out on it and causing unwanted

So, this really hits home for me. I was at a convention this past weekend where one of my colleagues - someone I work with, regularly get referrals from, briefly worked for, and is supposed to be one of the “good guys” - aggressively harassed a bunch of women during the social hours. In the course of investigating, it
