Bruh, that's a false equivalency. I'm not generalizing; I'm making a determination of these men's character based upon their words and deeds- not their appearance.

I don't see a difference because they say - with minimal variations - the exact same things.

I really don't see the difference.

Give him more than two weeks; why? I've seen what he's done in those two weeks;

So you say Black people can benefit from sitting at the table; that's an sentiment I think most of us can agree with, in theory.

This was some good TV. I'm definitely coming back for Season 2.

Agree wholeheartedly re: Miller's comics. I spent a good portion of my teens tracking down every old back issue of the various Give Me Liberty mini-series that I could find. When I read them at 16, they were the greatest; but now, reading those same comics as a man in my late 20's, I'm seeing a lot of…..questionable

"He must have noticed my dismay and he thought he’d placate me by assuring me as a black man it was his duty to fertilize the planet with his black seed and that each black man required a concubine of every “race” but that the black woman was his one true queen who was worthy to sit by his side."

Oh, I am SO doing this recipe.

You gotta to admit though, "Guilt? Bury that shit and move on," is the type of advice somebody as single-minded as Kane would give someone. I think I'm one of the only people watching this show who hopes Bellamy never sees any real comeuppance for his participation in that massacre.

"Can I plead the chip?"

11. He went to a Burlington Coat Factory scooped up every black man wearing sandals with boot cut jeans and every black woman who looks like she gets her hair done at City Looks.

NC A&T?

Hot damn BET! A Nelson Mandela mini-series and a show set at an HBCU featuring Jasmine Guy? Have ya'll actually gotten better since I stopped watching?

I've been wondering why I like this show and I think I've figured it out; I don't care about the mysteries. I just find the world vivid enough and the characters entertaining enough that James Delaney's motivations don't need to get more explanation that "wants to hurt the East India Company".

Allies are a myth.

No, I don't remember Atari.

I think that's because they think that, at this point in time, stuff like pointing out racism being the foundation of their party doesn't matter.

I've been thinking about Black Republicans - really, all minority Republicans - lately. I really don't see any cognitive dissonance going on with them; that would suggest a level of discomfort with what they're doing. It's like Black Republicans in general not only have different ideas about the best methods to

Yeah….I'm not mad at any of these young people in the video.
