Now that I'm technically in what can be considered my late 20's, I have a newfound appreciation for Jaleesa.

*sigh* Yeah. I like Jessica Jones, but that show really could have been three episodes shorter.

That's the thing; since my initial viewing of the show, I went back and watched a few of the later series episodes- I think "Sworn to the Sword" was one of them- and it just didn't connect with me. And that really confuses me because it's got a lot of elements that I like- pretty art, a diverse cast, good voice

The showdown between Harris and Katana Girl was desperately crying out for a over-blown Into the Badlands style action set piece. But then, that would have been fun and Heroes has never been a "fun" show.

I mostly only hear critics and bloggers gushing about how "progressive" the show is. All of the regular fans of the show that I've encountered are enraptured with the story and the characters. I got four or five episodes into the series and I was like, "well, it looks pretty, but I just don't care about anything

I still don't see what's so great about Steven Universe.

That's a silly question.

Welp, I'm thoroughly horrified.

He already wrote an article about Tamir Rice. We, as an audience, should be able to pay attention to more than one thing.

One thing I've never understood about people who make these types of arguments; do they think Black people can pay attention to only one thing at a time? Because I've only ever heard the hoteps & tepettes directing the "distraction" argument towards Black people.
What, so only the White folks have the capacity to

Dream Panther and Nacho Picasso actually make some dope shit.

The fact that R.Kelly can still have a public life and a career disturbs me on a deep level. Especially because I'm almost positive that the reason nobody has got this n*gga out the paint is due to who his victims were. Had he been out molesting anything other than poor girls of color- had even ONE of his victims been

meh. It's whatever….

That's a pretty big assumption you're making.

But was it a good movie?

I remember first hearing about Once Upon a Time in Shaolin and thinking, "That's the stupidest idea I've heard in a long time. The only person who's going to buy this is some a**hole lizard-person with too much money and no sense."

The Butterfly throwing knives are pretty minor when you remember that we saw Jacoby's clippers go into battle with pickaxes. My question is; why does every Baron insist on their armies of assassins having their own signature thing? Does every new Baron have to create a new signature weapon when they take the throne or
