It took until I was 13 before I got around to asking my mom why we had 67 (I counted them) different elephant statues/figurines/wood carvings around the house.

Most importantly of all though… it's the GODDAMN JOKER!! Who signed off on putting him on a team in the first place?

Okay…why?

We all need to ask ourselves; is morally ambiguous government organization that recruits supervillains, puts bombs in their heads and sends them out to perform top-secret black-ops assignments going to have a problem utilizing an obvious psychopath?

Personally, I dig it when the Joker is a graceless and perverse ball of fuck-sanity. Subtlety doesn't work for him; he's way too over-the-top to ever be presented that way. It wouldn't be entertaining or menacing.

The forehead tattoo is a bit on the nose but, overall, this Joker is suitably unsettling.

It's super frustrating. I don't dislike the idea of crossover events, I just hate that so many of them are rendered pointless by retcons or interrupts titles that don't really have anything to do with the main story. Also, since these things happen annually nowadays, the new status quo that these events are supposed

Oh, I can already see the years of continuity snarl's this issue is going to bring up.

No one person made me do this, but the one piece of media that I avoid out of spite are crossover event comics. I don't give a fuck if this story is supposed to "shake the foundations" of the universe or how it's going to effect the future storylines and blah, blah- no the fuck it's not! That event's only going to

If you serve out-of-the-box mac and cheese, then you don't love yourself or your family.

The way you describe chicken feet sounds a lot like trying to eat pig's feet, only with less fat and thicker skin.

Sinestro can only improve things.

And Karen Paige dodges the fridge for one more episode!

I just chalk it up to plain, run-of-the-mill arrogance. Wesley was nothing but condescending the entire time he talked to Karen; it probably never occurred to him that she would be able to turn the tables.

It's all a matter of perspective, but I don't see signs of abuse in Aubrey's interactions with her family. I just see a drug addict who doesn't want to get better and who resents it when people try to intervene in her life.

Here's a thought: why do we all assume that something must have happened to Aubrey for her to turn out like she has?

Was Aubrey really molested by her brother? Given how manipulative she's been before, I just can't take any of her accusations seriously; but then, maybe that's the point.

Solipsism ftw.

It's cool that Turn is back for another go round. The show is good, not great, but J.J. Field's John Andre is quickly becoming one of my favorite spy/spy master characters in fiction.

Trust me; people are that stupid.
