The prices on those things are going for double what I paid when they came out ($35-40) on eBay now. There's going to be paperback versions one day according to Amazon (probably sooner than the listed 2035 too).

I had no idea people actually played without the auction rule. I just assumed everyone reread the rules before playing, because who could remember all the dumb little things since it was last played.

I see people on the subway watching TV shows on their phone all the time, but I live in Seoul, and most smartphones also have antenna to pick up OTA digital signals… not many channels, mostly good for snagging updates on baseball games.

It was definitely a case of self-purging.

Well, I think you kinda said Game of Thrones is essentially ranked 5th.

I thought Hyden left pre-purge to join Grantland.

It's far ahead of time now with the delay, and Fraction makes it sound so amicable, that it's starting to seem downright un-DC-esque.

I'm a big fan of the Carl Barks Library that Fantagraphics is putting out. I'm living abroad right now so one of the sad things is I can't read the most recent one, which has "Christmas on Bear Mountain" as the title story. You won't go wrong with any of them.

[Deleted for redundancy]

Yeah, that's my favourite Parker book so far, but it's a 2012 book. But apparently [as seen in the comments above] the next one just came out a day or two ago.

Firestar and Iceman were established to have been amazing in the 80s.

I just finished rereading Hickman's complete FF work. I liked it a lot on the first read through, and less so on this second time. It's definitely a work whose sum is greater than it's parts. The pace and accumulation of so many threads kept me going through it so quickly the first time, and after taking a more

That burger looks delicious, but I haven't been very far beyond City Centre and the Golden Triangle when I went to KL. Be probably back there in a year or two.

My disqus used to have all of my AV Club comments, but doesn't seem to anymore. I started a disqus to comment on other sites after I already had several hundred AV Club comments and it just sort of absorbed my AV Club profile (even changing my name [because someone already had my AV Club name on disqus]). Ever since

Yes, definitely feels like Mom made over the house after seeing Dad's swanky new apartment. Of course, like @disqus_hde7I14XwM:disqus says above me, Dad also has a lot less stuff at his apartment.
