When I heard about the remake, I figured they'd make the rape less ambiguous—which it seems they did, going by Keith's review—and that they'd have the Dustin Hoffman character actually find out about the rape, which—maybe they did? It's a revenge thriller now? Keith, can you spoil us?

I would also like to judge all the users who gave this less than an A.

But what about Hirschberg? Inquiring minds want to know!

I would have liked for it to be explained what happened to the rest of the Basterds and how Ryan from The Office got captured. But I can imagine well enough for myself.

It's Duke Silver, and Ron definitely should have busted him out.

No, but I like detective/crime fiction in theory. I just need to pull myself away from literary fiction more often, but I always forget the bookstore has a special ghetto for 'Mystery'. I definitely need to branch out more.

Eyes Without a Face is a hauntingly beautiful modern fairy tale. One of my favourite Criterion Collection discoveries.

I thought late period Friedkin films like Bug and The Hunted are generally AV Club-approved.

I was hoping they would explain this as something of a cross between the David Lynch Foundation For Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace and the Werner Herzog Rogue Film School For Bouncers In Sex Clubs Or Wardens In A Lunatic Asylum.

It's like she has put these things she hates on some sort of index where some things are more tolerable than others, some are mildly irritating, and some are completely unbearable, instead of just hating everything with the same level of contempt.

Is "The One from the Other" any good?
