I don't really see the difference. Generalized jokes about body problems have quite a bit of impact on individuals with those body problems who hear the joke.

I disagree but okay. Maybe you don't sympathize with men who get body shamed, but I do. There is always collateral damage with body shaming jokes. He's certainly not a sympathetic figure either, but I don't view her as a victim, but as an asshole getting shit from another asshole. He's a shit for all the collateral damage he will cause to other amputees and larger sized people, not because he annoyed this assholish woman.
