Yeah Saffron never really took off like she deserved. Very under rated actress IMHO.

No one should watch any of these films on this list. I suffered through all of them. Hear my prayer!
Actually, the sad part is it wasn’t. Michael Bay should be banned from recording any media except for his outgoing voicemail message and even then he has to apply for a special permit.
I dunno. I grew up watching Pacino’s ‘70s movies on cable in the ‘80s, and I always preferred his more nuanced, earlier performances. In the ‘90s he kinda turned into a deranged Muppet. (Not that I have a big problem with that.)
“literally any of Nick Cave’s 2010s trilogy - c’mon guys, these were gamechangers”
Exactly, this means absolutely nothing. Fun podcast out there called “Best Movies Never Made” where the guests bring up all the time they got credit listed as a writer and 0% of what they brought to the table was in the actual movie. The Night Skies/E.T. 2 episode is great, the movie would have been nuts.
This isn’t anything new. The WGA has super stringent rules over who gets credited and often times, they are frustratingly stupid. In The Avengers, Joss Whedon admitted that nothing from Zak Penn’s script survived, but he was credited anyway because he was the first person who wrote the script.
Shutting down the only dedicated politics website in your portfolio right before the 2020 election, one of the most consequential of our lifetime, kicks into high gear. Essentially shutting down the second-most highly trafficked website in your portfolio because one out of every twenty five posts rankles you. I’m not…
Looking forward to each subsequent re-release modifying this scene, until it’s expanded to the point where it warrants its own full movie.
I love Dead Again. Everyone was great in it, but Robin Williams just shined in his role as a former psychologist turned meat butcher.
Does anyone remember a movie from the 80s with Robert Downey Jr, Sybil Shepherd, and Mary Stuart Masterson? In the opening scene Sybil Shepherd is pregnant and her husband gets hit by a car and dies. Then it cuts to twenty years later after her dead husband has been reincarnated as RDJ and is engaged to the now grown…
Oh, man, I forgot about Dead Again. It was made just after Branagh made it big with Henry V, and it showcased just how hot Emma Thompson was (is).
Let us know when you recover from your stroke.
Woman killed after witnessing robbery? Not news.
Seven of Nine, Data, and Hugh the Borg from the TNG season five episode “I, Borg”, with Jeri Ryan, Brent Spiner, and Jonathan Del Arco reprising their roles. Also confirmed by showrunner Michael Chabon at the panel? Jonathan Frakes (who is also directing several episodes of the series) and Marina Sirtis will reprise…
“an incredibly specific story reason”
Yeah, looks good but if all the dramatic tension hangs on a twist that we all know, or at least modern audiences should be able to see coming, what’s the point?
I won’t consider seeing this until they state it’s git a different ending than the movie. One that’s contradicted a scene in the movie’s trailer but not in the film.
After the original gave us when the greatest twist endings of all time, it feels just odd to be remaking it. Either we already know the twist, or it’s going to be contorted into something else for the twist that it doesn’t seem appropriate to call it Jacob’s Ladder. Kind of like remaking Sixth Sense...
Stop re-making/re-booting great movies that do not need it. Stop it. You are wasting your time, movie studios. Poltergeist remake? Pointless and not better than or even as good as the original. Pet Semetary remake? Pointless and not better than or even as good as the original.
