Except it already did have a positive impact on their lives. Experiencing the joy and camaraderie that comes with a team you root for winning a championship is a wonderful thing. It doesn’t solve any problems, no, but sometimes joy, for joys sake, is enough.

I’ve argued with him before. When he can’t explain his point any further, he devolves. He keeps moving the goalpost from “saying disparaging things about your spouses employer publicly” to “control your woman” and “control everything he/she says”.

Looks like I was right. Nothing but name calling. I would say I’m gonna need you to better but you’re not even worth the typing to reply further.

this is a dumb response and horrible false equivalence... be better Samer.

That Cavs fan should have put Curry’s mouth guard in his mouth and stared him down. Missed opportunity to show how tough Clevelanders are.

FTFY: 8D

The knots people twist themselves into trying to convince themselves that LeBron sucks are amazing to behold.

I know you don’t give a fuck, and I could be spending my time more usefully, but screw it - you’re an insufferable piece of shit. May your feeble attempts at cool detachment get you punched in the face soon.

Delly is only an asshole for people who hate people who actually give effort ..... and most of us can’t stand people who try all the time

Anti-Lebron folks are nothing if totally, illogically biased.

In these playoffs alone Green has touched the junk of at least 3 other players.
Other than hosting an hour of TV programming a 6 years ago...what asshole moves has Lebron pulled?

Ps- Go Warriors!

I mean, there’s a paragraph in this very piece that basically says “I’m whining because he’s not edgy, I’m edgy! WE’RE THE EDGY ONES, GUYS!!!”

A for effort, but I think you face an uphill battle defending Simmons ‘round these parts. I’ve never understood it: Deadspin and Simmons offer different perspectives on sports and entertainment. Simmons did some of it first, Deadspin does some of it - a lot of it - better (though the latter is clearly just a matter of

LeBron may whine for calls, but the one thing he is known for is taking, and playing through, more contact near the rim than just about any other player in the league. A big complaint of the Cavs this series has been that LeBron has been hacked or bodied by one, two, or more players every time he drives, yet he is

I always thought it was the guy who cheap-shotted other dudes in the nuts who was the bitch.

Yep. Has nothing to do with the pattern of Green going after an opponent's nuts.

I was mostly impressed by his defense. He looked, dare I say, engaged?

When I was 11 I was at a week long hockey camp at the University of Maine. My best friend and I realized a couple days in that - cut off from TV (this was 1994) and playing hockey 10 hours a day - no one had any idea of what was going on in the world.

What about a 24 point blowout after a 28 point blowout like the Warriors suffered last round? I mean, I’m not rushing out to the casino to go put my paycheck on the Cavs. I’m just saying maybe we should temper our hurry to end the series now and let the teams do it themselves before we look silly like we all did in

They could go bonkers from behind the three point line while LeBron slices up the interior defense, as they’ve done for long stretches throughout this playoff run.

I think that’s fair. He’s a hyper competitive pro, playing the best he can. Which, for him, means dirty. He's not flailing around. If he was that clumsy, he wouldn't get minutes in the NBA.
