@kyotokitty: I live in the UK. I had a low-risk pregnancy and saw my midwife every six weeks until week 36, then it was every other week (with a flurry of "why is this kid so LATE?" appointments for 15 days after the due date, thanks to Judlet's tardiness).

Our cats have been doing this sort of thing all week with the snow. Their cat door is in my home office, so every 45 minutes I get powdery felines rushing through the joint with what I imagine are thoughts along these lines:

@eruantaliel: The Tesco value pumpkin blended with some butternut squash (there's some in the Libby canned stuff most Yanks use) works well for me, too. I made a pumpkin pie for a Bonfire Night party and it was a huge hit.
